Producing for the Web is not an easy task. Monitizing the Web is a serious objective for visual artists which requires serious innovation, creativity and technical prowess. However, there is a revolution taking place among creators of original content, but you would never know it. For now, it's a quiet revolution and it's occurring in real time on the Web. Original web content is one of the fastest growing genres in Hollywood. However, the Web is still the Wild West. Everyone from the studios to the talent agencies to the independent filmmakers are jumping on the Web content bandwagon, but nobody has yet to truly define the formula for success. The playing field has been leveled for filmmakers and actors alike, giving them new opportunities to establish studio ties, become an online star, or create a low budget series with high budget potential.
